Security, Reliability and Resilience: EDIS network is operated from a secure data
centre which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year, with all systems being
mirrored on multiple servers, in multiple locations and with land based and high speed
wireless data communications. In the unlikely event of a failure of a data centre or a
disaster we have several on site back up features – including automated crossover to the
back up data centre.

Management of Multiple Data Communication links: Using EDIS network means you
need only one, secure data communication link to your site, we implement and manage secure
links to the networks of your trading partners, including support for: FTP, FTPs, HTTP, HTTPs,
AS1, AS2 and AS3.

Automated workflow, data processing and routing: EDIS systems will automate the routing
of, and processing of your data, including checking for duplicates, validating and converting content,
management of all common formats (e.g. XML EDIFACT, ANSI x12) and managing exception reporting.

Escalation Processing: In an ideal world all processes and exceptions would be automated,
however in real life exceptions/issues occur and need to be managed, EDIS system will automatically identify
exceptions and invoke escalation processes, e.g. an email or SMS to our technical team or a message to your
customer account manager.
